Arsenal are likely to make multiple additions to the forward department over the coming weeks.
A marquee striker will be prioritised, but the club are also exploring options for other attacking positions.
Real Madrid’s Rodrygo is the prime target to bolster the left wing, and preliminary talks have been held with his agent.
Amidst this, Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal remain in contact with Noni Madueke’s camp.
The reputed journalist believes the regular talks mean the Chelsea ace could be open to a potential move.
Mikel Arteta’s side have yet to make an official bid for the England international.
He said: “Arsenal remain in contact with Noni Madueke’s camp. To give you my feeling, when people close to the player continue to meet the club, it means that the player could be open to a potential switch.”
“It doesn’t mean Madueke is leaving Chelsea to go to Arsenal, it just means he’s opened the door to a potential move to Arsenal. Now, it depends what Arsenal want to do. At the moment, there is no official bid.”
