Chelsea set to sign another truly ‘excellent’ player who dazzles with his ‘dedication, performance, and goals’

Chelsea have enjoyed a fruitful summer on the transfer front, making a host of exciting young signings in the first few weeks of the window.
Joao Pedro and Liam Delap have signed for Chelsea this summer, along with Estevao, Dario Essugo, Mamadou Sarr and Kendry Paez.
Chelsea qualified for the Champions League, so they’ll be able to attract – and budget for – the very best players this summer.
Indeed, the Blues are set for another signing – they have reached an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund over Jamie Gittens.
Dortmund directors Lars Ricken and Sebastian Kehl have spoken about Gittens’ seemingly imminent move and what they said will be music to Chelsea fans’ ears.

Jamie Gittens deemed a consummate professional who repaid Borussia Dortmund’s trust
The Dortmund media team confirmed that Gittens is now “on the verge” of a transfer to Chelsea after “all parties involved agreed in principle”.
The contractual details are still being finalised, but this is likely to be a formality.
Dortmund CEO Lars Ricken spoke of how Gittens repaid the club’s trust in him with his attitude and efforts on and off the pitch.
“Jamie Gittens’ career exemplifies the development of top talents at BVB,” said Ricken.
“We discovered him very early, signed him almost at no cost, continuously developed him in our youth academy, and provided him with playing time at the highest professional level.
“Jamie has repaid that trust with dedication, performance, and goals.
“His transfer back to his home country would be highly valuable for us. We wish Jamie all the best for his sporting future.”
Meanwhile, sporting director Sebastian Kehl said: “The negotiations with Chelsea were challenging, but in the end, we are glad that we can most likely realize our expectations and gain planning security.
“Jamie is an excellent player who has brought us great joy. It was his wish to take the next step in his career at Chelsea, and we wish him all the very best and much success.”
Chelsea fans will be buoyed by what Ricken and Kehl have said, as their comments paint a picture of an incredibly professional player with the right attitude and talent to succeed at Stamford Bridge.
TBR Football previously revealed that Gittens wanted a move to Chelsea ahead of any other club.
