Rangers fans will be excited as the new era under Russell Martin and 49ers Enterprises begins to take shape.
The Light Blues have already completed two signings in July; Joe Rothwell was recruited from Bournemouth while Emmanuel Fernandez has arrived from Peterborough.
Now, the Glasgow club looks set to add another two players in the coming days.

Aasgaard and Djiga set to join Rangers squad
Rangers are looking to continue their spree of signings by approaching Luton midfielder Thelo Aasgaard.
Aasgaard only moved to Kenilworth Road in January, but Rangers have pounced following Luton’s relegation to League One.
Herald Sport (4 July, page 3) reports that this deal should be completed within the next few days.
While the 23-year-old Norwegian is yet to play in the top division at any level, he’ll be excited to prove he’s worthy of a place in Martin’s team.
The Herald also reports that Rangers are leading the chase for Burkina Faso centre-back Nasser Djiga.
Djiga signed for Wolves from Red Star Belgrade for £10million on the mid-season transfer deadline day last February.
The 22-year-old is still believed to have a bright future at Molineux, but it’s believed he will be allowed out on loan to gain first-team experience.

Rangers revolution starts to take place
Everyone in Glasgow was expecting a flurry of signings once Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises completed their takeover and appointed Martin as manager.
It has taken a little longer than expected to get things moving, but we’re beginning to see signs of the Rangers revolution taking place.
It may require a few more signings for Rangers to stand a chance of challenging Celtic for the SPL title, but it will be considered a good start to the transfer window if the deals for Aasgaard and Djiga are finalised.
Player | Appearances | Minutes Played | Goals | Assists |
Aasgaard | 45 | 3724 | 11 | 3 |
Djiga | 33 | 2413 | 3 | 1 |
Better yet, these new players have been brought in with enough time to prepare for the Champions League qualifiers against Panathinaikos later in July.
That two-legged fixture has provided ample motivation for Rangers to get their business done early in the transfer window. Indeed, both Aasgard and Djiga will surely be excited about the prospect of making their debuts in this high-profile fixture.
