Sunderland supporters have shared their feelings to the club’s latest transfer announcement which has seen a club-record deal agreed.
The Black Cats are preparing for life back in the Premier League next season after winning promotion through the Championship play-offs against Sheffield United.
Manager Regis Le Bris has already signed Enzo Le Fee from Roma, Noah Sadiki from Union SG, and Habib Diarra from Strasbourg.
The club have also brought in Florent Ghisolfi as there new director of football.

Fans curious by loan departure
The Daily Record (6 July) report Adil Aouchiche has signed on loan for Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen from Sunderland.
If the move becomes permanent next summer then Aouchiche would become the Dons’ record signing for £1.5million.
The 22-year-old joined Sunderland in 2023 and has since only made 36 appearances for the club.
The midfielder joined Portsmouth on loan in January, scoring one goal in 12 appearances on the south coast.
Fans have reacted to the announcement with one calling the move “weird”.
Aouchiche will develop in Scottish game
For Aouchiche the move north of the border will present the France international with regular playing time.
Having won the Scottish Cup, Aberdeen will also be playing Europa Conference League football next season, which should also be beneficial to Aouchiche.
Appearances | 188 |
Goals | 23 |
Assists | 25 |
Games in Scotland, bar against the two Glasgow giants, are often tight, competitive, and evenly matched affairs often won by fine margins.
Aouchiche will have the opportunity to show off his talent in hope of earning more minutes at Sunderland if he returns.
Players like James Maddison have previously been on loan at Aberdeen when coming through and have benefited from such spells.
If he impresses to that scale at Pittodrie, the Dons do have the option to buy him for a club record fee.
Sunderland are showing ambition in the transfer market this summer, so if they do manage to stay in the Premier League, opportunities may still be limited for Aouchiche regardless of his form for Aberdeen.
The Black Cats are eyeing up free agent Abdoulaye Doucoure after his contract expired at Everton and Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, whilst former player and Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson may also return.
