Dan Ginger has been named as Newcastle’s new brand, marketing, and digital media director, indicating that he will collaborate closely with CCO Peter Silverstone.

His responsibility will be to develop various marketing plans to expand our fan base internationally and, in turn, boost our earnings for upcoming transfer windows.

Additionally, he will be in charge of expanding and maintaining our online presence on social media, our website, and other platforms. He will also be in charge of “working collaboratively across departments to direct marketing campaigns and initiatives.”

This is the third hiring that has taken place behind the scenes in the past few months, following the hirings of Simon Capper, a resident of Leicester, as our new chief financial officer (CFO) and Jonathan Kane, who left Liverpool to serve as our new director of partnerships.

Dan previously held the position of Senior Vice-President of Brand and Marketing for the ATP and WTA tours in the tennis industry.

Dan, who was born in the North East, had the following to say about his appointment:
