After leaving Leicester City, the Belgian joined the team in the summer. He has so far started off the bench in all four of Villa’s Premier League games.

His lone start came against Hibernian in the UEFA Conference League.

 

During the international break with Belgium, the Villa player was discussing his playing time, and the midfielder stated that his current situation at Villa was “not pleasant.”

 

He disclosed Unai Emery, the manager of Villa, has indicated he will play soon and that he will use the opportunity when it presents itself.

“The situation is not pleasant,” the midfielder said. I notified the management that my intention was to play at Villa.

He recognizes my point of view, but right now he favors playing with the two midfielders from the previous campaign. He informed me that a series of games will shortly take place, and I would get extra playing time.I realize such response won’t help, but what should I do? I want to seize the chance as soon as I have it. I’ve only made one start so far, in the Conference League.
