Nine new Hatters have signed their first professional development contracts!

The Club is pleased to announce the signing of the following players to new professional development contracts at Kenilworth Road.

 

Archie Heron

Central midfielder from North London who joined the Hatters as an under-14. He describes himself as a skilled midfielder with a goal-scoring eye.

Ben Tompkins

Central defender on loan at Braintree Town in the National League South who joined the Hatters as an under-18. He describes himself as an old-school centre-back who likes to defend but also get on the ball and pick out forward passes.

Jack Bateson

Luton-born center-half who has been with the Hatters since he was eight years old. He describes himself as a player who loves to defend and put his body on the line. He is a powerful and combative defender with outstanding leadership qualities.

Jake Burger

Versatile midfielder who joined the Hatters as an under-9 player. The Luton lad, who can play in wide offensive areas as well as defensive midfield, likes to get on the ball and find forward passes and claims to be able to go about the pitch efficiently.

Joshua Odell-Bature

Under-13 centre-back who joined the Hatters. The Hillingdon-born defender describes himself as a disciplined ball-playing centre-back with good athleticism.

Joshua Phillips

Born in London, he joined the Hatters this summer after a successful trial. He can play a range of defensive and offensive roles. He describes himself as a team player who is self-assured and rarely feels under pressure.

Marcus Daws

The Taunton-born under-21 Northern Ireland international was signed in the summer after being released by Bournemouth following a good trial. He defines himself as a player who enjoys getting fans up and dancing.

Millar Matthews-Lewis

Striker who has been with the Hatters since he was 14 years old. He defines himself as a muscular forward with a strong eye for goal and the ability to move the ball well under pressure.

Oliver Lynch

The striker, who was born in Milton Keynes, has been with the Hatters since he was 14 years old. He describes himself as an old-school center-forward who enjoys running in behind, holding the ball up, and scoring goals.

 

All of the players deserve our congratulations, and we wish them the best of luck in their future careers at Kenilworth Road.
