Sunderland are still looking for a new under-18s head coach following Adam Asghar’s departure to Southampton.
Southampton have confirmed the appointment of former Sunderland under-21s manager Adam Asghar.
Asghar joined Sunderland from Dundee United, where he was a first-team coach, in October last year as the club’s under-18s lead coach.
Last month, it was revealed that the 29-year-old will be departing Wearside to take up a new post at Southampton, with Sunderland now looking for Asghar’s replacement.
