Prior to this, on June 7, Graeme Liptrot, 37, of Knowsley Road, Golborne, appeared before Wigan and Leigh justices to enter a guilty plea. On June 24, he drove a Honda Jazz on Rydings Lane, Golborne, without a license or insurance and without using a seatbelt. On June 7, he drove a BMW 3 Series while operating a vehicle without a license and under the influence of cannabis.
However, he had refuted driving a Peugeot 307 recklessly on Wigan’s Warrington Road on April 12.
The trial in that case was assigned to Bolton Crown Court. However, he entered a guilty plea before the trial could start, and the matter was postponed until March 31 for sentence.
In addition to a three-and-a-half-year driving restriction and 20 days of rehabilitation, he was also ordered to pay £119 to victim services and the courts for the other offenses.
