Djed Spence is scheduled to go to West Yorkshire for a medical and is expected to seal a loan deal with Leeds United from Tottenham in the next 24 hours.

Daniel Farke and Leeds were obliged to exercise patience in the transfer market this summer due to their huge outgoings, but their window’s conclusion appears to be just as intriguing as anybody else’s.

Leeds appears to be close to finalizing a transaction as the right-back is bolstered with high-caliber players.

Djed Spence medical looming
It was revealed earlier today by Fabrizio Romano that Leeds had reached a full agreement to sign Djed Spence on loan from Tottenham, paying £1million for the privilege in 23/24.

With the agreement in place, it seems as though the formalities are all that stand in Leeds’ way with this deal, including a pending medical.
Now, The Athletic’s Phil Hay has shared that Leeds are set to conduct a medical for the 23-year-old full-back this evening, as Spence travels to West Yorkshire from North London as we speak:
A deal is expected to be completed within the next 24 hours, as the first team gear up for their EFL Cup clash away at Salford City.
Spence is an outstanding signing for us at this level and seriously upgrades us at right-back, a position that is going to be key for us.

We need quality at right-back with how Farke wants us to play in possession, and Spence has everything we need in that area.

He’s not only a technically strong player with great ball-carrying and close control, but he’s someone with enough pace to make up for the times he’ll get caught out.
