Lewis Hall, a newcomer at Newcastle United, has been called up to practice with the senior England team, according to BBC journalist Ian Dennis.

Callum Wilson, Bukayo Saka, and Levi Colwill were “not involved in training today,” therefore Gareth Southgate invited Hall to practice with the Three Lions team alongside Chelsea’s Bashir Humphreys. Hall was chosen by England’s U20 team.

Wilson, our No. 9, has been doing some solitary work indoors with Saka and Colwill, so it is believed that his absence is not due to an injury. At St. George’s Park, Kieran Trippier is present, but Nick Pope isn’t because Palace’s Sam Johnstone was chosen in his place.

Returning to Hall, the 18-year-old has already expressed his desire to play for England after completing a loan-to-buy deal with Chelsea last month.

Other players include Lewis Miley of the Toon, who plays for England’s U19 team, Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes of Brazil, who will represent their country during the break, and Elliot Anderson of Scotland, who has received his first call-up to the senior squad. Other players include Alexander Isak of Sweden, Sandro Tonali of Italy, Miguel Almiron of Paraguay, and Martin Dubravka of Slovakia.

Fabian Schar was selected for the Swiss team, but it’s unclear if he will play despite holding his hamstring late in Saturday’s 3-1 loss against Brighton.
