Steve Cooper addressed the media following his Nottingham Forest side’s formation change against Burnley last night.

The Forest manager often uses a 5-2-2-1 configuration, but the Reds lined up in a 4-2-3-1 against Vincent Kompany’s side, with the emphasis on attacking in wide areas.

On his debut, Callum Hudson-Odoi curled home a beautifully, with Anthony Elanga being direct and creating chances on the opposite flank.

Cooper discussed the logic behind the switch in depth Friday night, conceding that his team now has excellent possibilities to play other systems.
