Wor flags have issued a statement encouraging Newcastle fans to once again bring their scarves for our Carabao Cup clash against Manchester City tonight.
The fan group are bringing this campaign back after such a successful cup run last year, in which we were also encouraged to bring our scarves against Leicester and Southampton.
With us making it all the way to the final, we’ll be hoping we can go one step further this year – but will need all the help we can get tonight as we take on Pep Guardiola’s treble winners in the third round.
It’s safe to say that the scarves did help to create a good atmosphere at those cup ties and Wor Flags will be hoping we can emulate that in tonight’s 8pm kick-off.
